On and off sprinkles for an hour or so didn't amount to much at all. All gone now.

Yesterday up until 10:00 pm we got very little, started raining around 1:00 am I guess and just ended about 5:30 this am.
Will check the rain gauge later.

Question; I have a half moon rain gauge that I use, neighbor who lives 3 doors down to the east of us has a full circle/round rain gauge that consistently records a 1/2" of rain or more than my rain gauge, any ideas why confused2

Just checked the rain gauge at 6:59 am, we got 1 1/8" at my house in N Dallas.

Looks like big storms that are growing and spreading out around I-10 moving east to south east from Sheffield to Sonora.

Ended up with 7/10ths here south of Breckenridge. Not nearly enough, but it'll help for a little while.

Glad you got some Hwy Man!

Hell, we got .03 last night and about 18" of wind. OMG it was bad for over an hour. We've got chit scattered everywhere and even lost power for 2.5 hours which never happens at our place.
I bet we had many gusts way over 50mph last night

As usual when the rest of the state gets a sprinkle we get flooded, I dumped 5 3/4”s out a few minutes ago from last nights rains. We needed a little rain but damnit I’m tired of flooding rains every time a storm blows up. Our bottom pasture is under water and it’s a crock of [censored] yet again…. If any of you guys want to move to a location with plenty of rain look no farther then NE Texas on the river. If they call for an inch your looking at 3-6 inches every time.

Just the opposite here, call for 2" rain and we get 1/4" most times, if any at all.

5 1/4 in. at home/ranch (by Johnson Branch - Ray Roberts Lake).
front tank was at 1/4 - now full. Mostly soaked in - just a few puddles here in there in low spots.
If that fell over my full 40 acres, google says that's 5.4 million gallons - blows my mind!

I just checked the sensor on our irrigation system and it’s showing 6.6 inches, either way we got soaked and it sounds like everyone up here on the Red got it hard and fast all night long.
