Just got done making this one for my father in laws new BBQ business. Turned out pretty good I think.

It’s 24”x18” so should be able to fit any brisket he throws at it.

Made from Paduak, Walnut, African Mahogany, Cherry, Birdseye Maple and Zebra Wood edging.

4 coats of mineral oil and 2 coats of board butter just need some feet now.

Thanks guys! Really appreciate it. The hell of it is I’m doing it for free as a business starting gift. If I were to do one this size again it would at least be $200 lol since my planar is only 13” there was a LOT of sanding involved. My arms hurt.

I'm still using the one I bought from you. Haven't had a chance to make one for myself yet, but yours works great so might not even make my own LOL.

Thank you sir! Took some pictures in use. They need some new cutting skills I dogged them lol. Told them their brisket slices looked like meatloaf and they need to pick it up if they’re wanting to sell [censored]. rofl

It tastes really good though.

Then this is a brisket they did for me for Easter but I sliced it while it was cold.

They decided to keep it mobile so they can do events and stuff but mainly it’ll be at the Eisenhower Business Center at 2415 S Austin Ave in Denison. They’re still getting all their ducks in a row, but planning on being open mid May. Really only thing they have left is to get their trailer wrapped.

Great looking board. Excellent use of wood and colors. I just bought one, mainly for looks in the kitchen. I don’t want to scratch it up.

From one woodworker to another, that really is a good looking cutting board. Darn shame they’ll be cutting on it. It’s too pretty.

I’m limited by a 13” planer too, but hate to spend the money for a bigger one. Can’t justify the cost. Since I make them and give them away for free, there’s no payout for spending big money.

Appreciate the kind words! I’ve gotten by this with a router sled I built. With a 2” flattening bit. I can flatten anything 8ftx4ft now. Works great and glides like butter.

Ha thanks Buzz, I’ll need to start selling A TON of stuff if I’m going to quit my day job. But that actually is my goal at some point.

I’m definitely running low on energy these days.
