What kind of landowner tags? Are you thinking of MLD tags?

The only tags for land owners that I know are lease licenses bought from TPWD. They are good for Sept. 1 until Aug. 31.

If you're interested in Colorado remember you are supposed to buy them from the landowner or designated land manager and they have to give access to the property. If anyone other than the landowner or land manager gives you the voucher it is VOID.

No transferrable landowner tags in Wyoming.

In Texas GWs may have a list of MLD ranches in their area, not sure on that.

We that lease land from the land owner are required to display the licenses at the lease. The game wardens can check if you have a licenses or not. I did not receive a lease licenses so I called the game warden he told me don't worry he can check to see if we bought a lease licenses. MLD ranches doesn't have anything to do with lease licenses as far as I know.
