It’s in Muenster. We drive there from D/FW about monthly to pick up meat. They butcher their own beef. They tell me that over 50% of their customers come from the D/FW area. It’s worth it. I also buy jelly and jam there. I particularly like the cherry butter.
Lots of different types of cheese.
Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.

Did it sleep in the water last night?

I mentioned their jerky this morning on another forum. It's ten minutes west of where I sit right now. The meat market will process deer too I think.
Pass the gravy.

Hadn’t been there in years, used to hunt Munster, Lindsey area, ate a lot of Fleshers German food and Lindsey’s bbq!! Heard they were having German fest this wknd. Would love to go, but too many irons in the fire. Do need to get over there and get some good German sausage to put in freezer!!!!
My Yote toys, Ruger 77 22-250 Foxpro 416B & numerous hand calls ************ God would never send Firefighters to Hell because we would put the fire out!

Hadn’t been there in years, used to hunt Muenster, Lindsay area, ate a lot of Fischer's German food and Lindsay's BBQ!! Heard they were having Germantfest this weekend. Would love to go, but too many irons in the fire. Fixed all that for you. Germantfest is not to be missed if you can help it.
Pass the gravy.

Grew up enjoying their breakfast sausage as my good friend and childhood neighbor is from Muenster. I married a guy from Muenster and we have to plan around busy times to get our "usuals" when we're down there. Still a few of the folks we've know for years working there.
Hess Meats is also a fine butcher shop and they also make sausage in house, on Mesquite St in Muenster. Their summer sausage is very good and breakfast sausage is spicier than Fischers. They will cut steaks to order at Hess.
Both process livestock and wild game.
We like Dieter Bros. BBQ in Lindsay.
Germanfest was a hoot back in the 80's !

Fischers is good for sure. I go from Jacksboro to Gainesville at least every other week and Fischers or Hess Meats is always a stop. I keep it mixed up, both stores are legit. Bayers store has good fried pies and struedals if you like this items.

Bayers just changed hands. Yep...like many family convenience stores.
They still have locals employed but you know what will eventually happen.
Right now is time to stock up on Bayers Kolaches and chicken balls. You haven't lived until you've tried a Bayers chicken ball.
Pass the gravy.
