Yesterday we hunted near Mobeetie, Texas, "Mother of the Panhandle" before the heat and wind drove us back to Menard. We had a great time hunting with Pecos Hagler and Casey Carter. This was my first trip to Mobeetie as I knew there was a lot of history there. I must say that this area is some of the more beautiful country in the area and was no doubt why the early settlers light there.
Adios,
Gary

Mobeetie is just 45 miles from me. Pretty country with lots of neat history. Friend of mine has a ranch there. Plenty of coyotes too. If you were going from Menard to Mobeetie and back I would assume you passed right in front of the shop where I am production manager. We are on 83, a mile south of Wellington.

Why did you kill it? Was it an immediate threat or just killed it because it was there….
