The cameras tell me that I have some corn eating activity, though very minor, at the feeders. Very few deer and no hogs at all. No acorns to eat, so it must just be leaves and grasses being eaten by the deer. One thing I do know is that we have a lot of pregnant does.
There’s no shortage of coons eating the corn though.

Doesn't surprise me if you have all this succulent green foliage filled with nutrients much better than corn.
To be determined

Yes, as for deer, this is the time every year when folks learn that corn and other man-made food sources should only be viewed as supplemental to natural browse. Feral hogs are a different matter.

in some cases, possums can over-populate an area, get angry and pee on corn.

Lucky. My stock hasn't seen anything green since July, other than alfalfa.

There’s no shortage of coons eating the corn though. Lots of heavy doe and I saw one (1) very young fawn this weekend. Also saw one coon that resembled a furry, stumpy-legged basket ball. Think he's the mastermind behind the recent corn heists.

Feeding corn for deer now is like putting $50 bills in the toliet and flushing them, woosh.

Not much green in our area due to lack of rain. We are not seeing as many deer either but we do have the feeders set to where they are not throwing as much corn. However the corn thieves are hard at work. Maybe the coons are getting more than the deer.

You would really have to look at the mix of natural flora and fauna when comparing the two areas. Or maybe the deer in your area like to browse and then hit the feeders for a Cheeto snack.

I was watching the deer last week. They walked right by the corn went to the left over Austrian pea and vetch patch and chowed down. Then laid down. About an hour later they walked right by the corn and hit the protein feeder. Just before dark they vacuumed up the corn from morning and evening spins. Just like me. I like my ice cream right before bed.

They come to corn every day on my ranch. I had 15 sleeping in my front yard last night just waiting for breakfast.

Agree Klinker. 4 out of 6 of my tanks are history in Montague County.

They are regularly eating corn at my feeders, and antler growth is noticeable,

They are still visiting corn feeders at our place but have laid off the protein a lot the last few weeks.. Deer and pigs alike. Happens every spring.
