Hudbone is saying a private business can require a mask mandate if they choose to. Even if the federal government does not require it.

Same as "No shoes, no shirt, no service".

No one said anything about supporting a mask mandate from the government, or supporting a mask mandate by a private business. Only that they are two different things.

The CEOs of the major airlines requested this about a month ago so. I expect it to be dropped sooner than later….

No, I’m not misreading… I understand exactly what he’s saying. Business’ can require whatever they want provided it doesn’t violate laws… understood and agree. My point is if you are the CEO of a business don’t sit before congress and say I do not want mask mandates, there is no scientific evidence they do anything, then when a federal judge rules the mandate unlawful say, we’ll just keep enforcing them. And yes, I understand the idiots in Washington will likely appeal the ruling and if successful the airlines would then have to reverse course again and reinforce the mandate again. However, if they all joined together now and all dropped it immediately Washington may take the opportunity to jump off their suicide train and not appeal the ruling. If the airlines all continue enforcing mask why wouldn’t the government move full speed ahead appealing it. They’re already enforcing it.
