Local HEB, Albertson`s and Kroger`s have had some pretty good meat sales the past couple of months, so I have been able to stock up for a while. Still have room left just in case a "hot deal" goes on sale, but it`s about as full as I like to keep it. Things can get lost if it gets too full. I almost never buy any meat product unless it is on sale at a pretty good discount, but if I run across a good cut of meat that really looks good, I will pull the trigger. A good vacuum sealer is a must.

You have to much time on your hands. No way I’m gonna attempt to take inventory on what’s in multiple freezers.

Kroger Albertson will be hit multiple times this weekend. I'll save a few rib roasts but mostly I'll cut them into bone in Ribeyes. $4.77 a lb. No Brisket sales and I am down to one.

Scored today at the store. Spiral cut hams at $1.47/lb and great rib roasts down to five something. $300 prime rib for $101, and cheaper than their 93% hamburger in the deli!!!!! Guess I'll treat the MIL to a prime rib for Easter.

It's packed after today. Thank you Kroger and Albertsons. 3 Rib roasts, cut one into 5 thick ribeyes deboned and vacuum sealed... (Already had 6 ribeyes), The other 2 rib Roasts are whole. Tri-tip, 3 Roasts, 3 Chickens, 4 lbs of Jumbo raw Shrimp, 6 lbs of Sausage.......... 2 big hams (one for tomorrow), 2 Pork tenderloins (Tomorrow). Yep, she's full. Already had 2 Briskets, a pork butt and 10lbs of Hamburger meat and 5 bags of Crappie. That ought to last me and the wife a while. grin

Tom Thumb had their Spiral cut hams on sale for .49¢ lb about a month ago, I bought two and put them in the freezer immediately.
Going to take one of them to the Fire Station close to us and let them boys enjoy!
