^ This x4.
I try to plan my outdoor-labor year-round (heavy stuff in cool weather), so by time summer gets here, get to just chill with a cold beer!
Light wicking clothing & hat make doing light-summer work (mowing/shredding/garden harvesting) a breeze!
Love taking a siesta on a hot summer afternoon under the shade of a big old oak tree, lulled to sleep hearing only the breeze blowing. wink

Give me a hot summer day any time over a miserably cold winter day.

Not!

If it got up to 107 then the feels like temp had to be way higher. Humidity starts in the AM at about 98% and might go down to the 30's before climbing back up as soon as the sun starts going down.

I don't mind it at all. But being in the roofing business my entire adult life makes you get used to it. I like working out in the heat training for elk hunts...it cleanses you.

One thing I don't agree and you hear it all the time here in Tx is "if you don't like the weather just wait 5 minutes it will change". Horsechit! lots of places around the country where that applies more than Tx.

Ive never liked to be cold. Hot isnt great but I deal with it much better. I thought I wasnt the norm on this but it seems like a lot of yall feel the same. One thing for sure about me is that whatever it is I will deal with it without much complaint. Forever forward.

My daddy always said " In the summer you almost always find a shady spot. Warm spots are hard to come by."

If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

This! 100%. Now if we could chill out with the [censored] howling wind that would be great

The wind will shut off when the temps get over 90°.

It’s usually July 4th. I spent years working Lake Ray Hubbard during my patrol years, the lake was always rough until July 4th, like clock work.

I can get more outside work done in the heat than in the cold. Easier to just sit down and take a break than having to go inside to warm up.

I just miss cold mornings outside, slight drizzle and knowing deer season is here. On the rare occasions we will have a cool opening dove season day....this gets me excited and comfortable.

Getting in and out of a 120 degree truck all day is not fun.

Except for about eight to ten weeks, the weather here is excellent.
Air conditioning takes care of those weeks.
