These are a few (of the hundred or more that I’ve taken) pics of a spring fed stream that runs through 2 miles of our lease. Native Americans were still living on it when the current owners “bought” it in 1854. Actually, the land was granted to the original owner (same family) for his service in the Texas Revolution.

And I bet that water stays pretty cool during the summer and makes for a fine sit in the water on a hot afternoon up

What county?

Pure greatness.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

Very nice pictures, what a wonderful place to camp back in the Wild West days.

Beautiful, I love the spring fed creeks and rivers that transverse the Hill Country.
Adios,

Absolutely beautiful

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Yes sir. Some of the pools are over 20’ deep. If you jump in on a hot day, it takes your breath away.

Yes it is. The landowner told me I could find and keep anything I wanted. I found a G10 spear point a couple of years ago. Probably a $3,000 piece. I didn’t feel right about keeping something that nice so I gave it to the landowner. He tried to get me to keep it but it was just too much.

My place has a wet weather creek and no ground water…. I am so jealous of this place! Wow!

You are a lucky man. Does it have fish? If yes, what kind kind and how big? Interested on how big they will get in a small stream like that with deep holes
