Found a Walmart roast meal package on big markdown, love those yellow tags in meat market. Never tried one of these, but at just over $13 for roast and veggies, why not. Opened package today, vacuum packed roast, vacuum packed bag of veggies (potatoes, onion, carrots, little celery) and a seasoning package under everything. Seasoned roast with their seasoning packet, seared all sides in cast iron cook pot with avocado oil, added veggies and 3/4 cup water, put lid on and into a 250 degree oven for 4-hours. Heated up some of my wife’s sourdough bread with some garlic and butter, outstanding meal! Will do again, especially if yellow tagged for almost $9 off.

Looks great! Love a good dark German or Belgian beer with a meal like that!

pot roast & veggies was a staple around my house and my wife's house growing up, mostly on Sundays. could prepare and put on to cook while gone to church and be ready when we got home.

I found some Jimmy Dean Hot breakfast sausage at WM one day. Usually $3.54, they were clearing them out for $1. I bought 15 lbs.

In. All the way.
