Will find out on Wednesday for the sale Thursday-Wednesday. Usually every year bone in rib-eye whole goes for for 4.99-5.00lb 3 days before Easter.
We will see if that happens this year.
Then we will see if briskets go on sale to 1.69 lb near Memorial Day, this one I highly doubt.

Before Biden it was $4.97 lb, I suspect it will be $6.97 lb when it goes on sale.

If prime rib goes for 5 bucks a pound I am getting some!! You may find bone in whole ribeye for $5-$6 lb like every year but doubt you will ever find “prime” for $5lb, I have never seen it that low. That was kind of my point. A few years ago and I was paying 10 or so bucks a pound.

Kroger had full ribeye roasts on sale the last few years for Easter and Christmas. They’re usually choice.
