Like them raw or in stew, but absolutely love them fried!! Cooking them on the porch in Matagorda, my buddy and I eat more out of the fryer than make it into the house. Nothing better than same day oysters!!!

Love them but I no longer deep fry at home. Point me to the nearest restaurant..

Those look good. No one in my family will eat them. I finally bought a jar @ HEB like yours a few years ago and made / fried some just for me. They were really good. Never tried raw ones though.

I like them every other way, but fried. Looks good though.
I went to HEB 2 days ago and they were out of everything at the seafood counter. No oysters, no crab etc.

Prices still crazy for oysters? There for a while you had to take a small loan out to fry up a mess of them.

There for a while you had to take a small loan out to fry up a mess of them. About a dollar a piece, plus a gallon of oil and the cocktail sauce. Still better than at a restaurant.
