Man don’t let not flying stop you.

I’m not a fan of flying either, so I drive to majority of my hunts. Driving to Idaho soo and last year I drove to Ohio.

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Elephant hunting is the most addicting, adrenaline filled, exciting and terrifying hunting you will ever do in your life. I have chased animals all over, but they are the only ones I have ever run FROM!!!!!!

I have two animals that I will make a point to hunt in my life time a monster Sonora mule deer and an impala. If we’re really dreaming I’d love to shoot the impala in Africa but a big enough place in Texas would work for me as well.

Maybe New Zealand Red Stag. If we are really dreaming, maybe a Kamchatka brown bear! I think that brown bears in the most remote parts of the Canadian boreal forest might be a runner up to that.

I think for me it would be a grizzly in Alaska.

I don’t understand why we can’t hunt big cats in Texas. There are probably as many here as in their natural habitat. Stupid politicians. mad

So many things I'd like to do.

Siberian Ibex in Russia / Mongolia would be up there. Spanish Ibex in the Pyrenees would be great, too.

But still got a lot of North American stuff to do.

Dream hunt would be a Markhor in Tajikistan but if it was only one hunt my entire life, I would say Mountain Goat in Alaska.

I have been very lucky to go on some awesome hunts over my lifetime - British Columbia, Africa, New Zealand, Mexico, Spain, and half of the states in the USA it seems like.

I got to take awesome Gredos Ibex, Elk, Red Stag, Kudu, Impala, Bush buck, Oryx, and multiple trophy whitetail bucks.

But to be honest the 201 LF B&C book whitetail I took a few years back is something I do not think I can ever top and is my Ultimate Trophy

The one animal I have not connected with so far is a trophy mule deer - tried several times to no avail - before I get to old to do a hunt I am going to focus on a mule deer

For some reason I never had any interest in bear and a few other species - all in all I would not change a thing

First pic is of the Red Stag I took - he was number 3 in the world at the time

Others taken - Kudu, Elk, etc.

A 170" plus buck here at the house. Paying to hunt an animal on someone else's land does absolutely nothing for me.

I enjoy growing big deer and managing the wildlife more than anything else.

I'd like to walk out across my pasture and flush a covey of quail. Looks like they're gone forever from my neck of the woods.
