Anyone have a Turkey feeder they want to get rid of or know where there is some for sale. Found 2 at Oakwood Outfitters but need one more. Palestine Athens area. Would drive 50 miles or so. ASF makes them but 6months out on shipping anymore.

Thanks

Gary

We use a deer feeder and mix the corn with milo grain. Every "turd" bird in the area will find it, from sparrows to crow and the game birds.

not that hard to find plans online and build your own, just takes time and money. yeah, I know both are precious these days ... I am running 5x standard spin style deer feeders on my small place in Burnet county and I mix in a bag of milo with the corn and the turkeys & doves come in frequently.

I am running 4 feeders year round since the turkey release and i also mix 1 bag of hen scratch in. Turkeys have to be there fairly quick to eat. Dove this time of year get most of the scratch. The 2 i built last week are up on 5x5 platforms 5 ft off the ground on a single pipe in center. Free choice. They work ok where i have seen them used. Just would like one more. Half a mile apart.

What are the dementions on the platform and how high is it off the ground? Can the coons jump up there on the platform?
