$9.59 at Bucees, Texas Motor Speedway location yesterday. Feedstore in Graham, FMC was $11.50 per, for that difference I'll start hauling it from Buccees.

I paid $13 a bag Tuesday at the Cisco feed store. Luckily, I only needed 6 bags to top off but that and the $16 for 8 bags of protein was a $200 plus bill.

I wouldnt buy corn right now someone is bending someone over.

As far as Ukraine.. there isn’t any corn currently planted in the Northern hemisphere right now. All corn was bought last year… per speculation

Which pellets, Don? I paid $11.75 for Micobe 15% in Hamilton. I'm feeding that to sheep and goats but I bet it's pretty decent for deer.

I normally feed "Exotic Breeder Pellets" but they were out. The pellets I got were 16% Deer on open range pellets.

Corn requires a lot of fertilizer and Nitrogen. $1600.00 $ a ton or more. Some fertilizers are up %300 in cost. The C/SB famers are switching lot of lands to all Soy Beans only which help some what to replenish Nitrogen.
I would be buying all my corn ASAP before the prices jump.

I saw where they may allow for more ethanol in the summer gasoline mix. If that happens it won't help the price of corn. I paid $11.50 at the feed store on Saturday. Milo was $14.00.

Yeah, feed store here told me back last summer that the prices would go down about October (2021). Didn't happen. In fact they've gone up.

But at same token a lot of alfalfa that’s hit it’s three year or less mark is being put into Corn. Significantly less water w/high nitrogen soil

actual planting is minimal for corn right now but we will have a better idea of total planting acres when insurance hedges are in.

Board is is up to 803. It’s tempting to start contracting.

With that said, I think the SW is in for a bad drought
