I just downloaded Adblockplus. Took maybe 15 seconds and no more pop up ads. Should have done it a long time ago, HC's face was the last straw.

Have you tried installing Ad Block on a Chrome browser? I use it and it blocks all ads and popups on THF. Just installed it and it has eliminated most of the pop ups. Thanks for the heads up.

I don't understand it
I go to other forums with far, FAR fewer users than this one has and don't see all the pop-ups.
If the owners of this site need donations to cover costs then post that and get rid of pop ups that show up all over the dang screen! Some are ridiculous and keep you from being able to even use the smiley faces fully because they cluster up the bottom of the dang screen!
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

How many threads are we going to have concerning pop ups? Currently there are three.
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

I'm with the folks that never get them, but I use a VPN for everything now so that might explain my deal...it sounds like that ad blocker deal might be the ticket for folks that are getting riddled with those garbage popups ie: clinton and peppermint commie...

I'm guessing management doesn't care what we think of these ads as there has not been a response either way...at least I haven't seen one yet.

Not about "whining" at all. It's the principle of the thing, especially since it only happens to me on THIS site! No Sir - it does NOT just happen on this site - it is a very simple fix - install an ad blocker and you are good to go

I’ve got the pop up blocker turned on in the settings, no workie for these special Hillary Clinton ads, so for the one I added is working.
