The Sears Catalog, milkman, bakery truck home delivery. As a family we all ate dinner when Dad got home at the dinner table together. Discussion was how everyone's day was.

the perverts and queers have always been there, around. Its just now they want to move society into the image of their god so they moved out of the shadows. its why a lot of the wealthy have wives that look like men.

Back in the day we used to play outside, ride bikes, play football and basketball, play at the creek, make ramps in the street, you know, be kids and have fun!

We didn't sit inside and get fat playing on your phones, and our moms weren't terrified to let us out of their sight!

...!

Will be happening in about 10 minutes, at my camp. Same as yesterday. And it is one of many things I am thankful for.

I still have the scar on my chin where I crashed my bike while pulling a wheelie trying to impress my sister's friend!

From when I was a young kid my family used to camp on Lake Lewisville for two weeks at a time. Though most of my adventures was with my Father, I was often allowed to go it alone. I did nearly 100% of the boat driving in the family deck boat, so my Father had enough trust in me as young as 8 years old that I was allowed to take the boat out fishing for up to a half day at a time by myself. We also took extended trips to the Florida Keys twice a year. I was big into orienteering in Boy Scouts and did all the offshore map reading and navigating the big boat. At 16 it was not unusual for me to take a zodiac out by myself to some of the reefs maybe 5 miles offshore to snorkel and spear fish. And yes, Flipper was one of my favorite shows back then. I was allowed to do lots of dangerous stuff like that by myself when I was in my pre teens and young teens when we were traveling and camping. Canoe rivers, climb small mountains in colorado and oklahoma, go out to catch poisonous snakes, and more. Today, most parents are afraid to let their kids walk around the block by themselves. And I will admit, I was not much better as a parent. It's a different world we live in now.

You had to wait until after 8 p.m. to make a long distance call to Grandma because the rates dropped then.

Excellent service and polite air crews on domestic flights. Passengers used to get dressed up to fly.

Back in my day....
1. We used to wave at oncoming drivers on small country roads and would move over for them.
2. We used to open doors for women. (I still do)
3. If you had a problem with someone, you fought it out and it was done.
4. In the parking lot of the school, there would be numerous pickups with shotguns in the gun racks during dove season or rifles during deer season.
5. Teachers would ask to borrow a pocket knife and several of us would offer up.
