A chop has a bone. You are looking at a boneless loin. The tenderloin is on the other side of the bone Never trust a deer with the tenderloin intact to a processing man also known as a crook, thief, scoundrel, blood sucking etc, etc, etc.

Nowhere does it state that a pork chop has to have a bone it to be call a pork chop. There are bone-in-pork chops and boneless pork chops like the picture above. Sometimes you just need to stay in your lane.

Had plenty of left-overs, so tonight we had the "imitation" chops, and I separated out my potatoes from all the white sauce and peas. The wife would much rather eat those anyway!! Pork and gravy, and smashed potatoes with butter and pepper!! ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2022/03/full-22567-341403-4a3bb594_a5fd_446a_a94a_b4b7b0dd52b6_1_201_a.jpeg)

They were not available when I was growing up.
