OP Blank THF Trophy Hunter B Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 6,330 Nampa, SW Idaho	No luck anywhere in the country for the 290's. Settled for a brand new load to work on, which will only be for elk or bears. The 458 TSX FBHP in 300 gr, and an orange MMP sabot. Looks good and at around 2000-2100 fps MV, with Blackhorn 209, should fly well. That hollow cavity is 5/8" deep and almost 1/8" in diameter!! Here's a line-up of the 300 gr Hornady .452 XTP, 300 gr Barnes MZ Expander, 250 gr Barnes Spitfire TEZ, 290 gr Barnes Spitfire TEZ , and the 300 gr Barnes TSX FBHP.
