I'm trying to make my own mineral but cannot find any place that sells 50lb bags of Di-Calcium Phosphate. I've tried L&E in Llano, Llano Feed, Mason feed, West Bear Creek in Junction, TSC, and none have it. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Just buy L&E Mass-O-Rack 2X mineral and it will take off all the mineral, trace mineral and vitamin that a deer will need.

I can get trace mineral salt for $9 per 50#, stock salt for $8 per 50#, and Di-Cal for ? per 50#..... You are paying for minerals, trace minerals and vitamins that a deer needs. What are you soil and plants lacking that the deer need? A deer mineral needs are different than a cow or other livestock. Don't base your price on what those ingredients cost when those are the cheaper parts of a bag of minerals. Trace minerals, vitamins and some macro and micro minerals are very costly when you add them to a feed pellet or loose mineral...ALL are very important in the deer daily nutrional requirements. You don't need 4 bags to start...just one. Also different forms of calcium or phosphorous for example are able to be utilized by some livestock but not by deer. The % they are in the mineral package look good on a feed label but useless to a deer.
