Made in 1947, K-frame. The two pictured together were made 75 years apart, shot them yesterday. My Grand Dad bought this new. He wasn't into guns at all. It came to me when I was 17. When fired single action it outshoots the new Glock. I shot it so much the first year I had it that for HS graduation all my Dad's friends gave me bricks of ammo. I've had it 42 years. [Linked Image]

Colt SAA in .32-20 originally issued to my ancestor as a Texas Ranger. Dates to ca. 1904.

1965 Ruger Single Six Magnum with convertible 22LR cylinder in original box. I am the second owner and this pistol was originally sold new from a downtown Dallas hardware store.

This is my dads .22 pistol that I got last weekend after he pasted away. He told me he made these grips for the pistol after the original ones cracked. He bought it back in 1954 or $20.00. It is H&R Arms pistol.

Great looking pistols!

I'm a sucker for old 22 pistols, especially old High Standard revolvers.

Forgot one. Ruger MKI from the early 1980's given to me by my next door neighbor when he was preparing to move into a home permanently. Looks like this pistol was used as a hammer and other tools as well. I just cleaned it up, test fired it, and put it away. No attempt at refinish will take place.

Tbar, Thanks for the link! My Colt Match Target is a 1974 model (that my wife bought out from under me at the local gun shop for an anniversary gift). Color me surprised at the time!
