Has anybody done this kind of therapy? It's called PEMF. You need to rent or own a machine because the treatments are every day. If you have done it, did it help you? It's supposed to really help with circulation. I'm researching getting a device and want to know if it works. The internet is all over the place on this.

Hoakum in my opinion. Like magnet bracelets and the copper fit that Favre peddles.

Supposedly it speeds up bone healing by increasing and improving circulation. There are many benefits to improved circulation if it really works.

Yes 68, it is a mild electro treatment combined with magnetic impulses.

Back in the 80’s I had a device that gave electrical stimulation to upper thigh muscle to strengthen after a knee injury. It seemed to work.

I've had experience with 2 different "TENS" machines; I got no relief from using either of them. Go here to read about them: https://bestconsumerreports.com/reviews/best-tens-unit/

TENS and PEMF are two different kinds of therapy. I too have had a few TENS treatments and didn't get anything from it.

Closest thing I have done is EMSCULPT. I did it for atrophy of my calf and quad after I had extensive ankle surgery.

I saw the results, it worked. With that said it’s pretty expensive. Mine was discounted significantly

I have had several different TENS units and finally found one that is comfortable and really works. I get tension headaches from my neck and shoulder and can put the TENS on for around 20 minutes and it will loosen up the muscles enough to let stuff move back where it is supposed to be. It's not a cure all, but helps when I have done something like filing feeders with 50# bags or working the garden with a tiller or hand plow.
As for the PEMF, I have no idea or experience with it.
Good luck.
