Thanks for the advice but I need it for my scraping of front yard.

If I need advice on how to "catch" cats out of a boat, I'll Pm you.

Catch cats? You have me confused with someone else. I just shoot cats or let my dog take care of the issue. Pretty simple.

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

I have a JD that’s about 15 years old. Don’t remember the size but, it’s more of a utility than actual farming machine. About 40 HP with a shuttle transmission. It has a FEL that I’ve used a lot. When I was looking at them, a friend told me that a tractor without a FEL was half a tractor and a FEL without 4wd was useless. Gotta agree.

Mostly use it to move things around and/or go get a deer or hog. Will probably try a wheat patch in front of the house to watch deer in this year. I expect t the hogs to make a mess out of it.

Put my Grandsons new wife on it the other day just to drive around the pasture. She was pretty excited and had me take pictures to show her parents.

I have a 2wd JD 2240 with FEL; it's 40 years old but still works well.

However, my next tractor will have:

Cab
MFWD
FEL
100+HP
Left-hand Reverser
Minimum 3 outlets w side outlets

A friend has a 2018 JD 5100e that has broken the left rear axle…twice…
Warranty covered the first one, the second cost him $5800.

What was he doing with it? That sounds like a design issue of some sort, perhaps.

The Ukrainians support the idea to get a bigger tractor than you think you need. Never know when you'll need to tow tanks or other armored vehicles.

Just typical farm/ranch stuff. The one thing that might have been a factor is that he foam filled the tires adding a lot of weight
