Betterhalf wanted biscuits this morning and said no to the swimming in butter one posted on another thread. So:

This is very close to the amounts.
2 cups flower
2tsp baking powder
1 egg
1/2 cup sour cream
About 1/2 cup vegitable oil
Enough milk for consistancy of dough

We are cutting down on colestrol (sp) would prefer butter

You are right, put the baking powder in the op. But no baking soda or salt.

You can do that or use self rising flour. Stage 3 kidney issues yhey have me on an extremely low sodium diet. Hard to stay under 800mg a day but most days I manage that.
