He looks like a guy I would have liked to hang out with! I'm sorry for your loss...wish I could tell you it gets better, but my dad's been gone 10 years and I still miss him every day! Maybe the two of them are somewhere sharing hunting tales and a bottle of good whiskey!

Thanks for the kind words, my dad was surely one of a kind. I just can't believe he is gone. He was my best hunting partner, he was my hero.
When I was knucklehead kid and we fought about everything we always could hunt together.
FWIW that first pic was an elk cow I took in New Mexico, I honestly couldn't tell you who was more stoked me or him.
