I always say I'll try anything once, twice if it feels or tastes good. I see 3 different bites there, and I'm done. smile

Iove heart and liver...but kidneys? If you told me they were good, I'd give it a try, but I wouldn't expect much.

If it was there and I was there at the same time yes I would try them but I don't think that will ever happen.

love liver and heart ... the old joke my dad used to say about cooking kidneys was you had to boil the pi$$ out of them ... but I don't ever recall trying any.

Yes Sir it is. I love liver & heart, but the only kidneys I've tried were goat kidneys in a grilled machito and didn't care for them at all.

I'd do the heart, but you can keep the rest. I hate throwing away my deer liver but I just can't like it, and I ain't picky at all. Only thing I flat out can't eat is cucumbers and sweet potatoes.....oh, and liver and kidney.

Never had any kidney. Would try the the liver and heart. Gravy would be required.

Had heart from deer, chicken, Turkey, beef and was all good. I’ve heard kidney is great if done right but never had it. Certainly would try . Like chicken livers, haven’t had too many other livers prepared well but would try that for sure too!

That’s probably the best eating parts off a javelina. I’ve killed 100’s of them and never felt the need to put a knife on one.

Nothing like hogs. They will suck up the corn and chase off your deer though. Once you get them gutted and skinned I’ve had some that were very mild and good and some that were pretty rank. I’ve gotten fleas of as many deer as I have javi.
