Finally got a chance to do another load work up on my win mag. Old school, no chronograph, 100 yards. Paper looked a little ragged but on wood, looked to be a one holer. [Linked Image]

Guess no one can read my mind, 300 win mag, 3 shots, IMR 4831, 150 grain Nosler Ballistic tips. This is one I put together for my son for a hunt he is going on.

I’d say you found the load

So there is a lot of discussion on another thread as far as a "score" of what the impacts measure. I did not measure it at the range. Just wondering if someone has some type of app that can measure the 3 shot group impact on the wood photo? This is on a .300 caliber bullet.

Take your calipers and measure the total size of the hole and then subtract .308 from that measurement. That will give you the size of the group as folks on the other thread are talking.

Nice shooting and load workup btw...congrats and I hope your son hammers something with it.
