Crock pot. 10 hours on low. Fall off the bone tender.
Seasoned forequarter with salt and pepper. Placed in crock pot.
Sprinkled with packet of ranch dressing and au jus.
Cut up a stick of butter and placed on top. Added several peperoncini peppers and a little of the juice.
Added just a little chicken stock. Let go 10 hours on low.
Bones pulled right out. Pretty dang good.

More or less traditional Mississippi then. That's great, I could figure it out for the IP and I know the girls would love it. Sandwiches with that would melt in your mouth!!!

Looks wonderful!
I've made Mississippi Mud venison shoulder roasts in large roaster pans and they turn out great too. Just add a few cups of broth for added moisture since venison has no fat.
