A simple change of rings or base we'll fix that. Burris signature rings with the inserts can get you an extra 20 moa. The water is warm Tim come on in.

I've done that, based on your recommendation, but might need to install other inserts to get to that range. Either way, the wind will kick my azz, but I'm in for the education.

I have a 40 moa rail and can dial almost 500 yards without using the hold overs depending on temperature.
Im going to try to make this one, need to check a few things first but will definitely try.

Good thing mine is lost in the mail while trying to get to Lapua or I would be there to put on an exhibition! (not to mention the gas prices that went up another .20 today.. .that makes for a full $1 added in the last 7 days).

Can you use a spotter or is it shooter spotting himself? The shooter will be spotting for himself this year. there is not enough recoil on the 22 to disturb your sight picture. If the shooter misses five shots in a row he can ask for assistance from the official spotter.

Thanks Senior, for putting this match on again! It was a lot of fun. If anyone out there is on the fence about coming to one of these, get off the fence and just jump right in! There were several new shooters and they did quite well. One of the 4th place shooters had never shot a match, and never past 100 yds before this morning. He had a blast. There is plenty of help available to get you up to speed, and its about the most low pressure format you could run and still call it a competition. It's all about fun and making 22's do things they're not supposed to be able to do. Look forward to the next one.

I planned to be there. I was signed up and looking forward to it since I haven’t done the .22 match before but had my alarm on silent and slept until almost 7:00. I’ll make the next one.

Have you shot longer ranges with it? On quick glance your scope mount looks flat vs. a 20 MOA (or more) rail, which becomes necessary when you get upwards of 200 yards or even less. You might also look into the monthly .22 matches (same people, same place) which are more PRS style at shorter distances.

If that’s 200 yards you’ll be fine with the .22 league, you’ll need about 20 more MOA to reach 400. You’ll enjoy it, everyone is very helpful, the range is well set up, jump on in.

Yes sir thank you for info and the advice again, you got me doing some research on my set up lol it help me understand a lot more so my scope has 90 MOAs and i use the first focal plane so to shoot 400 i need *1moas i can adjust my turret for that or just turn *1 moas and aim at the bottom of my crosshairs ekekekkeke i know is not easy but i’m down for the challenge!
Thanks again
