Looking for a great hard, TSA compliant, double rifle case. I know every maker uses different foams. Which case do you all like and which to stay away from?

Thanks

SKB and Pelican are the two most robust and popular IMO. I have multiples of each brand and wouldn’t look elsewhere. They are pricey but at the top of the list as far as brands to buy.

I have the Boyt 2-gun case, and really like it. The others mentioned are all great cases. They are heavy at around 22-26#, but the handle on the end and wheels makes it easier to transport. If you are looking for a metal one, the ICC-1 aluminum cases were all welded and indestructible also.

I have a Nalpak Tuffpak and think highly of it.

I have a Pelican and just use different pieces of foam to custom fit whatever I'm carrying. Lots of travel and hard knocks but so far no problems. I have other cheaper dual cases that were top of the line back in the day but really of no comparison to the Pelican and there is no way I'd travel with those today. Protect your gun, glass and other items and go with quality like a Pelican or SKB, just be sure to get one with also end handle to pull on wheels.

I'm a fan of the Pelican cases but don't have the original one. I have one of the Pelican Vault V800 double rifle cases due to it being slightly larger for the long barrels. It's been solid
