Yes her hooves are that long. And yes you need to tranquilize to trim them. I did not want to do that until later. The long hooves are not going to kill her. She gets around alright. She is not in a large pasture where she needs to run fast. Raising them is not a walk in the park. Lost the first 2 because of the cold weather. Then lost one because the Nanny had triplets. Now am batting 75%. But the kidding is not over. So we shall see.
