Have they eased off their Covid restrictions? Last time I was in NM they were still pretty bad even though most other states were back to normal.

Youngest daughter has a place in Angel Fire. The little town has the basics - hardware store, donut shop, restaurants, and a fishing lake (for a fee).

Her place is on one of those rental sites, if anyone is interested. VRBO.

Last trip through NM, it was the most masked up place I’d been, but that was a while back.

Most of the resort towns have a high percentage of Texas second home owners. In Lincoln County 70% of the property tax statements go to out of state owners.

We went to Red River in Christmas

I got tossed from one gas station for no mask but everywhere else seemed about like here

Fairly normal

We made a quick trip to Santa Fe this weekend and the mask mandate has been lifted. Lots of locals still wearing them though.

And the fee's to book a room are higher than Colorado and it is nicer up there anyway. F new mexico, Colorado folks may not like us but they like our money.
