Drove from Frisco to Greenville this morning and it was getting pretty dicey. Not looking forward to the drive back.

Drove from Colleyville to Los Colinas this morning and east was clear, west look like they had a little bridge ice and an accident

30 between Rockwall and mesquite was a parking lot. At least a couple accidents

30 degrees here. Thin layer of ice on some things. There was some very light freezing sleet, but it’s gone for now. The wife drove 40 miles to Waco for a hair appointment. I told her this might not be a good day for that, but she explained how important it was. She got there, and I hope she gets back safely. All about the hair…some things are worth risking your life for.

I have the fireplace going, and the Generac guy is working on the generator.

It’s been 26 or below here all day and we’ve had freezing rain off and on most of the day, it’s very slick here and getting worse by the minute.

Early school dismissal here…just now canceled Thursday & Friday as well. Pansies…

I can see the early dismissal and closing tomorrow because of the expected ice. Friday closing is just being lazy!

21* in Sherman and icy. Just took the trash out and my driveway is a sheet of ice. Weirdly the road looks fine and just wet. I’m sure it’s hiding some black ice though. Wife and son’s school already canceled for tomorrow not sure about my work yet. Cooked another huge pot of chicken noodle soup and made a charcuterie board several beers in now. Been a pretty good day.

I canceled my appointments today and then the university closed early today and all day tomorrow, so I was just ahead of them. The older I get the more I realize it's just not worth the headache to drive with so many idiots, especially on icy roads. I rescheduled everyone to Friday, so it'll be a long day, but oh well.

My wife has a very important Dr appt tomorrow at 3pm. They called this morning and said to check with them tomorrow before coming in. I told them if they cancel her appt then we're going straight back to the ER. I also asked for the DR or PA to call me back and... no call. Oh well, we'll let the hospital GI Dr do the procedure. Rant over!

It's hell dealing with a lazy doctor's office staff. 'Worse when it's your spouse. I don't know how those bitches sleep at night.
