It’s a sad day for me but I bought this off here probably 10-11 years ago or so for my son for his first rifle. He has outgrown it and looking to buy something else. good call- maybe a grandkid can use it My gut was against it, he was in favor of it He has borrowed my stuff for over a year and wanted to move it Guess Ill buy this one twice but this time he can have it back on my deathbed lol

Procraft05.. You made a great decision not to sell the 22-250 very hard to beat the 788 and not easy to come by... be sure and buy it tho... guns to a lot of kids nowdays are nothing more than just game money etc...just saying...Shadowman...

Is that an original stock? I've had a couple, and seen a few others. None of them had this finish. Great shooters, and good call on the life line you threw to keep it in the family.
