My wife has an antique business in Round Rock and acquired this mount from an Estate in Midland. The son thinks his Dad killed the buck in the 60's. It doesn't look doctored in any way. I don't want to remove the felt since it is vintage as well. Any thoughts on what it is worth? ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2022/02/full-8080-336647-holub.mount1.jpg)

My husband took a buck in Wyoming with an extra point growing out of the forehead like that, pretty cool deer.

What's it worth? Probably $30 or $40 bucks. Unless you are looking at some sort of record, deer mounts just are not worth much to anybody other than those who have sentimental value attached to it.

Make it into a lamp base and it will go for at least $125.
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

Stick a stupid high number on and put it on the internet...someone will buy. Cut off the left and right side and it's a unicorn mount.

Sell it to a restaurant or business. Ask 100 for it.

Pull the felt to verify it's real then offer option to redo the felt or sell as is. That will get you your $100.00 along with the back story from the 60's.
