So we are thinking about doing a couple spring/summer protein type food plots. We have never done one before. We are in Western Coryell county. Do yall have any ideas or thoughts or experience with what works or doesn't? What might grow the best and work the best? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

when we do spring plots, we usually go with peas (whatever the feed store in our area has available).

IRON & CLAY PEAS work very well in NE Texas, hi-protein and drought resistant.
