Feeling sorry for you guys in the cold; it's miserable when you're not used to it. Heck, I wanna shoot that groundhog for saying 6 more weeks of winter!!

Saved that big cap off the point end of that last brisket I did, just for this. Made a beef bouillon with red wine also, and added the meat. The brisket was already cooked and tender, but I boiled it for another 15 minutes while the veggies cooked. Started to really shred and get delicious. Made a nice roux to thicken the gravy, and boiled all the vegetables at the same time. Mixed it all together and then simmered for a long while. Big chunk brisket beef stew, with plenty of potatoes and carrots. Butter topped bread sticks with grated Parmesan over them.
