I'm betting I know the answer but any of you all get into watching curling ?
It's one of the 1st Olympic sports on for the games this year.
Watching some right now.

We got into watching it a few years back. Our local rink has a sheet they let folks use but we have never tried it.

We'll be heading down to our friends' bar/brewery this afternoon and it will be on the TV there later.
The culture and camaraderie sounds like fun, the broomstacking after the bonspiels especially.

I'll have a nice cold local beer for you all freezing in the ice storm. Hope you make it through ok, I'll take our snow over your ice any day !
Stay safe and warm folks and more curling for your enjoyment later today on USA.

I've watched some of the Olympics on occasion when there was not much else to do. Have done curling several times in Canada in relation to my former company's events. It was actually a lot of fun combined with beer and much more difficult than you might think. Thankfully they put a Canadian on each of our teams to help us.

To be determined

I enjoy curling, the strategy in it is impressive. But no, I'm not watching these Chinese olympics.

I used to live in Fairbanks, AK and the curling club there was great. They had a nice bar that overlooked the ice. I love to sit up there by the fire and watch.

I’ve pretty much given up on all sports….other then my grandsons games I no longer have any interest. Used to love watching it but like too many other things I used to enjoy, it’s been ruined for me….sad…

I like to watch curling when I'm not fishing, hunting, playing baseball, watching hockey, baseball, football, college basketball, eating, sleeping, going to church, reading, praying, talking, taking walks or hiking, or such similar tasks.

Feel your pain...one thing I will say that I didn't expect from writing all the political BS in sports off...freedom. The irony...I don't plan schedules around sporting events at all anymore...I was going to say can't remember the last sporting event I watched but I can. Dallas Stars were making a run in the playoffs (actually played for lord stanley's cup) and they cancelled playoffs for two days due to some rapist being shot in MN. Screw'em, haven't watched a single second since. RIP to sports as we knew it.

I’d watch if I didn’t have to pay a premium service to do so. Seems they try to nickel and dime us to death with trying to watch things that interests us. So, I just pass…. I can always find something else to do.

I watched it last night and learned something new. Those rocks weigh 42 pounds. I would have guessed about half that.

Interesting sport. Tossing a flat bowling ball down the ice, then using brooms for more distance. Used to watch it many moons ago on Wide World of Sports on Saturday afternoons.

Like you I'm done with all of it. I'll watch pee wee or HS football and that's it.

I have always suspected it began as a way to move a case of beer between two ice fishing huts.

Actually did it when we were stuck at Minot AFB. Will I watch it? Depends on what else is on, there are better options.

I enjoy watching it. Seems like an every-man type of sport, like horseshoes, bowling, darts, etc that I could get into playing every once in a while.

I remember one of the kids from Minot AFB calling it shuffleboard with rocks. The Phys Ed teacher had him running laps for the duration of that class. They take curling seriously, curling is rated pretty high in the great white north.

Paid TV has been around for over 40 years, this isn't some new concept. And you can watch whatever NBC broadcasts for free.
