That is what hog hunters do.

Its a cool looking contest with some good payouts. I personally haven't seen a hog even near 300 in my area. Lots of 200lbers but no where near what it would take.

If they pay out more spots, say to 10

And idk if they will or not

It gonna take a low 300 to sniff a check

And thats a monster

I have 1, saw her 3 different times during deer season that I think will break 3

But, she could be long gone by now...

We didn't shoot her for that reason

It is my opinion that the money(new pickup money) has gotten to the point where dishonesty is bound to happen. I believe last year that one or more of the top few came in the last couple of days of the month. Coincidence?

I believe that the feeding out stuff, no pen of course, is the way a lot of these winners are happening.

I'm not looking for an argument this is just my opinion. If it's within the rules to feed out a pig with the potential to win 70k, then why wouldn't folks do it?

I had a really big sow hanging around last month so I kept putting cupcakes out by the feeder for it . That back fired as the sow seemed to have died from high cholesterol just before Feb 1st .

Banking hogs is like banking big bucks...and then the neighbor shoots them.

Folks will cheat for any amount of money, be it $700, $7000 or $70000

I don't have a say in any of it but personally Id like to see a pay out down to say 25

And last year that was correct, the 2 largest came in the last day or two

I had one of the larger pigs I saw in years on me during deer season

I laid eyes on her 3 times, she was a monster

Id have to put here right at the low 300's...300-320 would be my guess

Haven't saw here again
