Ok who's wife drives the vehicle with you in it? No alcohol or leaving a party or she is the Designated Driver.

I cannot feel comfortable sitting in a passenger seat while she is driving. 15 years ago we would go to the cabins in North Carolina, Blue ridge, ...etc and she asked to drive, NoWay! It was 14 hours and I would do all of the driving in one leg.

I see "men" letting their wives drive all the time in the messoplex.

I get it, Dr appointments, dentist appointments and under the infuence. There have been more than one occasion where that is not the case, example last Saturday morning my wife and I were going to a cafe for breakfast and this man and woman pulled up, he in passenger seat was screaming at her where to park. Heck maybe he had a dwi or something.

Just seems more men are controlled by their dominate spouses.

Who cooks in your house?

Do you dominate the cooking?

My wife and I are a team.... no dominance. She drives every now and then, then I drive every now and then. On road trips I mainly drive, but when we took a trip to Virginia, she drove some as that was one long trip. But fish is right, who cooks in your house? In my house we both cook, we both clean, we both do laundry. My dad taught me well.

The main question is... does she still wash the skid marks out of your drawers? grin

She does not drive my truck. When we go out we always take her BMW, it's about 50/50 who drives, it does not have anything to do with who is in control or dominance.

My wife refuses to drive “the big truck”. If we go out, we’ll take her Expedition because I’ll have a toddy or two.

I drive 80% or more, does not matter if it's her vehicle or mine. Sitting in the passenger seat with her driving makes me more nervous than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. My wife has ADHD and it shows up greatly when she drives. I see so many things she misses. It's not about dominance, it's about who's better at the job.

At home, I do more of the cooking but she's getting better. Cleaning is about 50-50; she does most of the laundry these days.

Pretty soon we will have driverless cars, I can see Superduty yelling at his wife "No, I'm pressing the button!".

I drive 100% of the time (unless under the influence) with the bride in the car, but I like driving. Shoot, when dad and I went to Colorado elk hunting I drove the whole way.

If I'm not driving I'm either drunk (or working on getting there) or sleeping...I have a hard time staying awake in the passenger seat and like ZX, I like to drive and prefer to drive.

I don't care if my wife drives. If we are driving together it's probably split 75/25 me driving.

Guess I'm comfortable with my masculinity....

She does more laundry than me

I wash dishes more

I cook more

I mow and shred 90% of the time.

I clean bathrooms and vacuum

I do 90% of the work outdoors

She sweeps and cleans the kitchen

She pays the bills

She keeps up with kid stuff

She makes more money working from home

I never could get comfortable with my ex wife driving, no way I could take a nap on a road trip. She would make phone calls (hands free) but talk with her damn hands. Good GOD woman, keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road! I got tired of fighting over that so I just drove everywhere.

Remember to always put the toilet seat down.

90% of the time I drive, no matter if it is my truck or her SUV. Usually the only time she drives is if we meet somewhere to ride together somewhere else and she is already driving.

If it is a long road trip, i will do most of the driving but let her drive for a few hours to take a break.

I always drive unless I'm impaired. My wife doesn't want to drive and I'm usually good with that

Was leaving with a friend to go deer hunting and as we left his house, he had a wife and 2 daughters, he hollered as he closed the door, " the commode seat better be down when I get home.

I drive my F350 and most of the time, if we are in her F150, diesel, I drive that too. Her choice. I wash my own clothes.
