So I work out of town for 2 weeks at a time then I usually get to come home for 3 days. I get home about 09:30 Friday morning and park the truck and go grab one of my young pups and we take off to go get the card out of the game camera. We get about 45 yards past the pasture gate and Kate gets extremely upset. I look and theres a coyote messing around by my deer feeder. We slip down there and I get about 20 yards from him and shoot him and he takes off running and dies somewhere in the pasture. Next day Saturday I am in one of my traps running a chainsaw, my pup Kate is on the 60 ft exercise line in the back yard and my stepdaughter is on the trampoline in the back yard and one comes right through the pasture eyeing my pup...he saw me coming through the gate and boogered. Never got close enough for a shot with my pistol. Then Sunday night I was in the shop and the dogs started raising hell and I saw 2 more coyotes walking through the back yard. I believe I have an infestation of them.

Since I shot my only hog, I’ll be after coyotes now. Lots of fun to hunt and they don’t need skinning. Go get em.

They should be real hungry after this cold spell. Be out calling but gonna wait til it's over .
