No shut outs, outside of early teal a few hunts- limited to one location for me, due to dam work at my second place- dirt man dragged his feet and had to draw down 3 feet after last big rain in August. Plenty of millet for the black birds.
We are hunting 3 guns Saturday and calling it quits. Maybe I hunt them Friday am solo- if numbers support it.
You guys and gals hunting 2-3 days this week, or one last time. Ring Necks have been plentiful, and have saved many shoots this year- which we try to avoid shooting. They don’t hurt the sausage or Jerky in small quantities.
Good luck to all.

I hunted yesterday and got skunked, figures since I went in blind, but I didn't see any ducks flying either. Had a bald eagle hanging around all morning so that was cool.
I haven't seen or shot many ringnecks this year.
Going to hunt Friday and hopefully find some birds for the weekend. Of I find birds will hunt Saturday and Sunday. If not will probably just hunt sunday.

It’s been tough and very sporadic on the Texas mid coast last several years. I decided this year to put my money toward N. Texas and Southern Oklahoma. Lot more birds, more variety, and bigger birds. When it was all said and done. The money spent I came out ahead instead of staying local. Plus, public land has been a total sh!t show last several years. I’m don’t getting into it with guys that think they own the bay or marsh.

Its been tough up here, and even the beat outfitters in the business are saying its been the worst year they've ever seen.

Bobby hope you’re doing well. Daisy 8 1/2 years old, And still hunts like she’s three. We fixed her hip two years ago extremely successful FHO surgery, almost lost her a year ago ingested a sock, two surgeries and ICU for a week, she all good now. Hopefully her drive and insane personality is not her demise….. which is out of my control. Here are some pics from yesterday‘s last hunt of the year. Greenwing teal showed up late morning and saved the day.
Having issues downloading Yesterdays pic will post when I return to Dallas
