I would like to publicly apologize for making this thread accessible to Colt.45 and stirring up his mental game.

Just like lots of things. I went to Ace today because none of the big box stores want to carry garage door opener grease. I learned a lesson last week. I was out of opener grease so I used some Mercury grease. Big mistake. I looked at the algaecide. It has gone up $4 in a month. $4 is 28%.

If Colt would leave his trailer he would know it's not just fuel that's going up because of his savior Brandon's policies. It's groceries, used cars, lumber, tires, border crossings, basically everything. It's not his fault though, it's those greedy executives.

About 2.5 million Texans are employed directly and indirectly in the oil industry. When the price of oil is high, that employment keeps the Texas economy on the move. The back side of that of the price of fuel goes up. When fuel prices increase, so does just about everything elsse.

I am shocked how many read and decode the BS he posts...he cannot possibly be as uneducated backwoods as his posts...it's a schtick, one I will not participate in.

Haven't looked at all the posts to know if anyone has already mentioned it but high gas prices are part of the plan to make you buy an EV. I'm sure all those guys who make long drives to their deer lease are going to love EV's, given how long it takes to recharge one, even with 220-volt power.

They can take their EV's and take a leap at a rolling doughnut!!

So we are all going to need to install chargers at deer leases along with boat ramps and campgrounds. No way that is happening.

The range on the EV is not far enough for me, especially towing something.

That would have to be a pipe dream, it would take a couple of decades. After a 25% increase in EV the fuel supply would be so large that the oil industry would have storage problem.

Right now the people are traveling more than ever. Demand for fuel is at an all time high. The high prices will slow that down and the price willdrop as supply builds up.

EV will never become mainstream as they are not and will not be practical. The new Cuber truck that bosts 500 miles of range has a base price at $80,000, if you cant afford that and want the $40,000 it has a 200 mile range. Now here is the important part those ranges are in optimal temperature and wind conditions. In cold weather the batteries lose charge about 30% faster, driving into the wind you lose range, towing crushes the range. in worst case conditions while towing you may get 30% range then have to charge. I own a wrangler that has electric option up to 25 miles or you can run on gas. The variances are huge

Many on here were raised in families and homes with very little. We could have chosen to spend the rest of our lives like that or use our brain to better ourselves. We chose to not wait on someone bail us out. You always try to drag everyone down to your level. You continue to blame everyone else for you problems and the lifestyle you chose.
