Heck yeah TCM3!!!
I had another with wheels down for the first time again yesterday. Now have 7 at the house in the last 4 weeks. I like having them close together. Makes it easy to put a nice set of heifers together and sell.
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Makes it easy to put a nice set of heifers together and sell. We have 16 cows total on the lease and 13 here at home., 1 left to calve at the lease. a majority of cows calve between the end of october and January. There are several cows that didn't take the first time several years ago and are late spring calvers.

Pure greatness.

a few days ago, this calf's (Black and White one) navel looked a little swollen, mainly around the tip. the next day it was swollen up more.... so after i fed, i went back to the house and loaded up some LA200 and brought a extra syringe and needle. i penned them and worked them out until it was just him and 2 other cows which are calm natured, got him up in a corner of the pen and flanked him, felt of the navel, it was warm and definitely infected, didn't feel like a hernia, from what i could tell. so i gave him his shot and cleaned up the end of the navel with some iodine. and let him out with his momma. He's doing much better now... There was another calf that same day, it's navel was swollen, but him nor his momma would come up. Thankfully after they all got distracted by hay, i was able to sneak up on the little booger and grab him, hold him down and give him a shot. luckily he didn't bawl, or his momma would have been in my britches. We usually get 3-4 infected navels a year, i think it may have to do with alot of that lease is swampy/mud land, and i guess they get mud on it when they're newborn and it gets infected that way.
