Three of the five grandkids showed up unexpectedly, to visit us oldies, before heading back to their homes in Boise, Bozeman, and Chicago. Who still has grown kids who love oven made cinnamon toast? Big breakfast to get them going this morning.

And take that very same cinnamon toast, dredge it through a milk/egg mixture, and put it a frying pan full of melted butter and go for the French Bread finals!!

I do that if there is only one or two of us, then finish with powdered sugar and a dollop of pastry creme!!!
