I smoked a venison roast then slow cooked it in crock pot. It shred right apart. Wife made a homemade red sauce for it. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2022/01/full-33365-333216-20220123_173921.jpg)

I love cooking a deer roast like that low and slow till it falls apart, then take half of it out and add vegetables to make stew: ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2022/01/full-6229-333333-img_0350.jpg) and then using some of what I took out for making breakfast tacos (with eggs, etc), and finally simmering the rest w/ chili powder/paprika/jalapenos & beans and wrapping up into a huge burrito tortillas!
