I have a tripod (I think it’s an old Texas Hunter but not sure) that needs the the swivel seat replaced. I would like to have a shooting rail that swings with the seat. When manufactured it did have one made from channel aluminum. The previous owner cut it off I suppose for bow hunting. The swivel base is still good. I don’t mind replacing everything however the original swivel base is a little different. Two of the mounting plates ears are higher than the other two. This angles the seat so you are slightly leaning back, I suppose for comfort.
Can Anyone point me in the right direction?

Nice. Concerned if the rest will bolt to a regular swivel primarily used for boats. If it fits, that’s perfect. If not, I’ll need to modify. I don’t have a welder.
