The town drunk was meandering through the outskirts of town one evening and found himself in the cemetery. Not totally aware of his surroundings he fell into an open grave that had been dug earlier that day. He tried desperately to get out for hours. Finally wearing himself out he sat down in a corner of the hole to rest. Later a man who was late returning from work that evening, he decided to take a short cut through the cemetery,he too came upon the grave unknowingly, and fell in. He frantically tried to get out. He tried and tried. Finally the old drunk awakened and said,"You ain't gonna get outta here, I've been trying for a long time"

Needless to say, the man made it out.
