Can anyone comment on aoudad hunting with John P. Boersching Ranches in west Texas. Close to Marfa. I have been in contact with Allison at Wolverine Property Mgmt.
No current reviews on this sight. Last comments on tis outfitter are many years old . Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance. rr54 from Ohio

Welcome to our forum. I dont know anything about Aoudad but many on here do. If you cant get squared away with that bunch there would be others on here that can steer you to someone else. Good luck.

Welcome to the forum.

Unfortunate I’ve never heard of that outfitter either

Google just the owners name. Lots of info dating way back about 8-14 yrs ago about hunts on that ranch.

Might want to pay attention to what he writes. Never met stxranchman but I read most of his posts. I would trust him if he posts what he did. Then when you do, you might contact Mulie Mike on this forum. He can help you. stx might too. Not sure if he hunts them on his place. Just for what it's worth.

stxranchman, Thank you. I have seen the older posts. I was hoping to find more recent comments regarding this outfitter. The young lady I talked with seemed very knowledgeable but first hand experiences by actual hunters is always better. Trying to put together a hunt for my old a--, (71) and some 40 somethings that are just getting into big game hunting. thanks again for responding.

Our of curiosity I googled it and it was an interesting thirty minutes of reading. I would run the other way. I have no firsthand knowledge of the place, never even heard of it until this thread, but what I read was enough to spook me.

That area hold a lot of Aoudad. I have spent a lot of time working between Van Horn and Marfa and they are there but certain places are definitely better than others.

I did the same. There’s no way I would book with them.

Lack of recent posts on forums says a lot IMO. Couple of the older posts on the other forums did not speak to highly in their reviews. The pics on the website look very old also. I would ask for references and then call every one they gave me.

I’ve been with Mulie Mike. He has great ranches with lots of game. The hunt I went on was on the Devils River and was one of the funniest hunts I have ever been on. Spot and stalk at it best.

Mike is the go-to dude on this and most hunting forums. Hunted with his crew in the past and going to again later this year.

I do believe Mulie Mile has several ranches to hunt and can tailor one to meet your requirements
